QRC Sponsors Golf Tournament Benefiting United Way
On September 6th, HollyFrontier/Petro-Canada Lubricants hosted its annual golf tournament at Carlisle Golf and Country Club. T, raising funds for the United Way of Greater Toronto. This highly anticipated event brings together industry partners each year to support vital community programs. QRC Valves was one of the sponsors of this golf tournament, proudly sponsoring hole #9, a par-4 on the East course, demonstrating its commitment to corporate social responsibility. Michael Postma represented QRC Valves and played alongside Richard Grabowski and Slav Pawlowski from Comco Pipe & Supply, as well as Mike Koolen from Keddco Mfg.. The tournament attracted 200 participants, all vendors working with the Petro-Canada Lubricants refinery in Mississauga, Ontario.
Since its inception, the tournament has raised over $500,000 for the United Way of Greater Toronto. These funds directly support poverty reduction, mental health programs, housing initiatives, and food security efforts across the region. As a long-time industry leader, QRC Valves values opportunities to give back and support organizations that make a real difference.
